Macmillan...
It was very exciting to find that 'This is Owl' had been chosen as highly commended in the Macmillan children's picture book awards. I went to see my work up in Foyles gallery in London on Monday, where i received a certificate from Nick Sharratt...very exciting. here is a photo of me looking silly next to the piece they had chosen to represent my book.

not sure what i am going to be doing yet. im going to spend the whole summer working on character design n see how i do..i think i would like to tho. :) x

hello. thanks for the comments on my blog. i am colouring them in using berol felt-tips. sometimes pencil crayons but they dont scan in as well as the felt-tips do. i am trying to use photoshop and illustrator to colour in but i am not sharing these pictures as of yet until i am happier with them. the stickers are something i started adding after i had an apple one day and didnt know where to put the sticker so in the sketchbook it went. hope you are enjoying your summer break. dx.
