these are so cute :)
these are adorable! :)
Aw sweet! I just found you via debbie's (ladysnail) blog. I like the roughness of the drawings, it shows how you progress :)
aww thank you catherine! im glad you like it! :) and glad you find me haha :)
Hello Kayleigh, I have to congratulate you. I've been a university lecturer in art and design for more years than I care to remember, and I have to say that your output (from what I've seen so far at least) shows a lot of promise. The products you're selling on Folksy are indeed very charming but I'd encourage you to also keep up the sketches and prints. As I skimmed your blog just now, it is this page of bear sketches that really grabbed me. You clearly have a gift for freehand drawing, and there's a wonderful variety in your shapes that makes each drawing unique. It may be little more than a throwaway page of work in progress but to an old softie like me it's truly adorable - and I'd urge you to keep sketching, maybe try some freehand printing. Your digital work is just lovely but your rough drawings are some of the best such work I've seen. Keep it up
P.s. I tell all my students to never tear pages out of a sketch book. By all means, scribble, draw/paint over, work around it, adapt, whatever! But cherish every drawing and embrace the odd mistake!
Wow thanks so much, very kind of you to say, I know I do need to do more sketching....nThanks again, very encouraging words.
I'm glad you agree, please do keep sketching. We all need a little encouragement sometimes :-)
